Description

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) sent a cease-and-desist letter to Andrew Whitehead, claiming that Whitehead had made defamatory statements about the organization on his website [2]. The letter stated that CAIR would file a lawsuit against Whitehead unless Whitehead agreed to voluntarily cease-and-desist the publication of defamatory statements about CAIR. Furthermore, the letter stated that CAIR would file a lawsuit if Whitehead published the cease-and-desist letter, claiming that it was personal and confidential. The letter is currently openly available on Whitehead's website.
